Quran

﴿وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

Meaning: And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

Surah Ar-Rum 30:21

Meaning: They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them — in protection, concealment, and closeness.

Surah Al-Baqarah 2:187

Meaning: And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them — perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah places therein much good.

Meaning: It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might find tranquility in her.

Surah Al-Hujurat 49:13

﴿وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ

Meaning: The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong — a partnership of loyalty and support.

﴿فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ

Meaning: So by mercy from Allah you were gentle with them. Had you been harsh and hard-hearted, they would have dispersed from around you — gentleness draws near, harshness drives away.

Surah Aal-'Imran 3:159

﴿وَأَنكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ ۚ إِن يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ

Meaning: And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your servants. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty — a promise of provision with marriage.
